Brendan and Neissa had known each other for quite a while, but before they could take that next step, they needed to discover themselves, mature into young adults, and gain valuable life experiences that would inevitably allow fate to pull them together senior year of high school when their relationship began and deepened. After their first date, Neissa came home that night and told her mother, "I am going to marry this man." Once they graduated from high school, Brendan went to trade school to become an electrician and Neissa attended and graduated college with her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Elementary Education. Through those years, Brendan and Neissa traveled, adopted two Chihuahuas Rocky and Pequena, and moved in together to start their life long journey together.

On a random Saturday in October, Brendan and Neissa decided to go to NYC for the day. Brendan knew Neissa had always wanted to walk through Central Park, so he coordinated and planned a proposal by the lake there. After walking around and trying to find a cute place to take a photo, Brendan had a photographer waiting, and just when we gave the "random" girl our phone to take the picture, he dropped down on one knee and asked Neissa to marry him. Neissa was in complete shock, but immediately said YES. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you at the Litchfield Inn!
